PROJECT TASKS

Characterization and Assessment: To characterize existing conditions in the watershed and assess those conditions relative to various water quality and ecological standards.

Best Management Practice (BMP) Evaluation: To select BMPs and estimate their potential reduction in pollutant loading in the watershed.

Watershed Modeling: To estimate the water quality impacts of the BMPs and allocate these BMPs for achieving the required TMDL reductions in pollutant loading in the watershed.

Watershed Restoration Plan: To recommend for implementing various BMPs for various land uses in various parts of the watershed for improving water quality.

Public Outreach: To reach out to stakeholders in the community in a variety of ways.
